United Plant Savers Field Work November 2018

In early November of 2018 Cimarron Maz collective and collaborators visited the United Plant Savers Plant Sanctuary in Rutland OH. This was the first installment of our Deep Ecology Fellowship work that we are doing at the sanctuary. During this time we gathered field recordings of the American Ginseng from its roots, since the leaves had dropped for the season. We also made field recordings with other indicator species of Ginseng, and had a very informative chat with long time Ginseng tender Chip Carroll. We will be returning to the sanctuary this coming May to follow up on our recordings, and begin the comparative process of the recordings... will the sounds be different seasonally?
